Would have to disagree with your remark about rearsets being a waste of money unless you ride track. Making small position adjustments on your controls, bars and rearsets can make a big difference in comfort, which makes a difference on the road and the track.

installed the same brand but diffrremt design pegs for my ninja 300 . yes, its a weird transition but it felt normal after a day of riding and you learn to work with it . saves you over $150 i think and i snatched it practically for free back in december .

FYI - I installed these and did not like them. I researched for better rearsets and found out that there are drawbacks to most of the rearsets on the market for the 2012+ cbr1000rr but the best rearsets are the Woodcraft and Vortex Reasets which i recommended at 1:55. However, for street, you don't really need aftermarket rearsets unless you are a street rossi, otherwise aftermarket rearsets are only needed for TRACK.

Woodcraft rearsets work just fine, but if you really want bling and race-derived performance the Satos are hard to beat. The shift and brake lever action is smooth and positive, thanks to high quality stainless bearings. The finish is beautiful - no sharp corners, all beveled edges. Quality stuff.

I bought a different set from China for a 2016 CB650f . They fit perfect but the only draw back with every chinese part I've bought is every screw / bolt has to be removed and lock tight applied . If you don't you can guarantee they will come loose and fall off . I had that experience with the gear leaver coming off when I was going round a fast left hand bend . Scary stuff putting your toe down and feeling nothing there lol .

I've noticed even some of the best rearsets have little uv protection - I've got Gilles vcr38gt's on my 636, the anodized green faded and black turned dark purple within one year of purchase lol. Don't wanna complain too much though cause Chinese throttle grips almost killed me - the throttle reel was one piece with the tube and measured 2mm smaller in diameter than the stock reel causing the cables to slide off.

Let me get this straight, you're recommending to not buy Sato rearsets based on a "review" of a chinese knockoff of the product? I've been following you for a long time, but is this some sort of joke or something? That would be like me going out and buying a knockoff of a pair of Nike shoes then telling people the original sucks because the knockoff does, it costs 3x/4x more because the quality of the original is substantially better. So disappointing.

Vortex goes below stock, as do many other brands like AP. You bought a POS rearset kit and didn’t sound like you knew how to adjust them, like when you mentioned the brake lever angle was steeper-it’s adjustable at the M/C. Fail on your part, and I wipe my ass with your unknowledgable opinion.

Rear sets are made to raise your feet away from the ground and are primarily made for the track. If you are just riding on the street, don’t waste your money on rear sets. You can always get customize parts for what you already have.

Lol worst review ever. This guy complained about rear sets for the same reason people buy rear sets.
He just wanted fancy colors lol

I would say that there are few good chinese rearsets and brand names that each have their cons. Most of the time rearsets are not liked in some way because of their design and fitment which the rider does not like after putting them on. Coming to the chinese ones these fuxing rearsets are amongst the better quality ones and which are also by the way rebranded in europe and the US. The most common mistake that buyers do when installing these is that they do not use any sealing agent such as loctite to firstly reduce the risk of loosening and to greatly reduce vibration, incidentally it also gives a manner of smoothness to the movable joints. Be aware that people have bought the real knockoffs and had real bad experiences that is simply because in terms of material used they did not bother whereas on the other hand the very few chinese brands that sell the good ones use good quality materials but use other brand's designs such as sato which in the end result, mostly gets them the same cons that the brand names have which then translates to the user being unsatisfied. Theres a new player in chinatown that i think deserves a test, try the Arashi ones some time and make a review, personally i think they deserve some credit for quality products.
