Watching on my Pixel 1 XL. 4 years old going strong. Can't wait to buy the Pixel 5.

Update: Now watching on my Pixel 4a 5g.

Hands down the most balanced Pixel 5 comparison I've seen!

Well now that Google is ending free unlimited storage for Google Photo’s, this (the Pixel 5) and the earlier generations, are the only way to keep the free unlimited storage that Google is ending. New Pixels after the 5 will not be getting free unlimited storage.

Had a Pixel XL for 4 years, upgraded with Pixel 5. Pros in order of importance :
- amazing os and experience.
- battery life 1-2 days !
- compact and light (I was a bit sad the screen was almost smaller then my previous but actually enjoy the lightness and feel in one hand).
- great screen.
- great camera.
Cons :
- Speaker is terrible...
- no XL option.
- no face unlock.

I'm watching this on my pixel 3. I really love this phone had it for about 2 years and it's the best phone I've ever had. I'm scared to upgrade though because I'm really comfortable with this phone.

This video was bang on for me (as a Pixel 3XL user). Thanks!

Switched from Samsung S8 plus to Pixel5. My previous phones are all Samsung and I totally recommend Pixel5. The battery life is so amazing and the user experience is better. It has everything android phones have and a much more clean and intuitive user experience, which is the advantage of an iphone. The only down side comparing to my prev phone is the speaker. The quality isn't that good, but this doesn't bother me, since I don't really listen to music out loud. Oh and the night mode photos totally blew my mind.

You didn't talk much about the screen quality, brightness and how it compares with iPhones and Samsung's. Hopefully you can respond to this :) thank you

totally agree. Pixel5 is so light. it's one of its main positives imo. really comfortable in hand, no fingerprints, and nicely grippy vs glass.
that along with the crazy good battery life n stock android interface. my favourite phone to use every day.
I tried out an s20 last week n tho the screen is beautiful n I love the vibrant shots from the galaxy's cameras I much prefer the weight and UI on the pixel. battery life sucks on the s20 compared to the pixel too, even when using 60hz & medium battery saver settings on the s20.

Downsides:
the p5 speakers are terrible.
I hope Google upgrade the camera sensors next gen.

I felt like the haptics on the Pixel 4 XL are smoother than the Pixel 5, that's really the only reason I had to return the Pixel 5 and kept my Pixel 4 XL. Can't wait for next year Pixel 6 XL

I use the 4xl, so no upgrade at this time. Plus I like the squeeze feature, face unlock, Soli I can take or leave. And the stereo speakers are just better. In my humble opinion I think it would be a downgrade. Plus the 855processer is still better than the 765? It should have been priced 550.00 to 600.00, 7oo.oo is just too much for what's offered. Some call it a flagship, I call it a mid-ranger due to the processer, very good review!

Just got my 5 after using my 3xl for 2 years. Was kinda disappointed with the size but I like how light it is.

No desire to upgrade my pixel 4 XL. Still a premium device, same software experience as the 5, same camera hardware and experience with the feature drops face spotlight now rolled out to 4, better speakers, faster processor. When the pixel 6 comes out, lmk.

I was sure I was gonna get the Pixel 4A after watching a different review which put more emphasis about the lack of front speaker thing which seems like such a weird design choice to me. But you said you haven't really noticed it much, and I think that as a water sports lover and just an outdoorsy person in general, the improvement in video quality does it for me, as well as the waterproof factor. I feel like I'll get a camera which I can also make phone calls and text with and that's pretty much all I want.

I have the Pixel 2, still works great except for battery life which has turned to shit. I think I'll wait to see the Pixel 6, I'd like improved camera hardware before I spend money on an upgrade. In the meantime I have a portable phone battery I keep in my handbag which solves my battery problem, not ideal, but much cheaper than buying a whole new phone. Very helpful review!! Thank you.

Great video. I just upgraded from the 4 xl and have no regrets. Smaller phone fits my hand better.

I have a pixel 3 . Great phone 📱 I can't see the point in upgrading right now. I want to see what the samsung does with the s21 or what motorola does in the spring of 21. Probably going to upgrade my tablet in a few weeks.
