The sound of a Garrett Pro-Pointer's low-battery warning

I'm on my 3rd battery change and decided to record the warning beep. Not only does the GPP emit this unique beep, the vibration feature gradual slows down. If you haven't heard it, here you go!

I had issues with my Garrett pro pointer AT and could not set it I watched about 5 videos on settings still would not work. Then I stumbled upon this particular video and WALLAH the penny dropped and I realised FLAT BATTERY. So thank you for a short and simple video and the solution to my problem.

I recently got one and out in the field I got that noise. I thought hey thats neat its telling me its been idle too long. Guess the battery has been sitting in it in the warehouse.

i had this happen today with brand new shipped batter 9.4 v pretty silly the thing gives no warning and is rendered useless until battery change

you covered your speaker with a blue tape, so I guess you have the same problem with wet dirt covering the speaker. did you lose any loudness by covering it with the tape ?
