One thing that always bothered me. They went through the effort to make a key. When the it was clearly stated. To use that hunk of metal and get into the chest. They never stated you had to make a key to get into the chest. I would have simply made a flathead nail and hammered my way in with the nail. Just break the lock off. But, that is just me.

I have lost track of the number of times I have seen someone eliminated because their blade isn't long enough. FFS you only have one parameter and you FIU.

This doesn’t make any sense. You can’t just forge a key knowing nothing about what’s inside the lock.

Some of these challenges for the show seemed kind of stupid. I'd rather have seen them actually smith.
