Star Trek: The Next Generation RPG -- Player's Guide (Last Unicorn Games) Review

Alongside my coverage of Star Trek Adventures, I wanted to give those of you with a less narrativist approach to RPGs my take on Last Unicorn Games' Star Trek efforts, which are much more 90s-style traditional efforts.

I love STA but I love this game too; the key difference between them is that they're trying to do different things on a fundamental level. STTNG is trying to simulate the Star Trek world, while STA simulates the Star Trek TV experience. Both have their merits, and I personally both find them worth playing depending on what kind of story I'm looking to tell (or participate in).
