Nio began Onvo L60 deliveries on September 28. In three days, it has delivered 832 cars to customers. It means Onvo delivered about 277 models daily. However, delivery chaos appeared as some people who ordered the L60 in September got the car faster than those who placed blind orders in May. As a result, netizens blamed Nio for shady deals and unfair queue jumping.

Nio’s response to the delivery situation

First of all, Nio apologized for the confusion in the order of vehicle delivery. The automaker admitted its inventory was small before the sales started. The volume production of the Onvo L60 started on August 15. Nio had managed to produce around 2, 000 units before the launch. Approximately 1, 000 of them were display cars and test-drive cars.

Then we’re going into the new year which for the past 4 yrs the first qtr has been poor sales wise, targets not met etc. then the cycle starts again where we hope onvo is doing what it should be doing then hopefully $10 by next November.

It's down because you talk too much. The so-called secret that you share regarding the B to B sales is not seen as something great - at the end of the day, those cars are not in the hands of consumers. And no one knows who owns the businesses that are buying the cars. That's not good hype.
