By the time Tesla will have an "affordable" $25K car, Nio will have 2 Onvos and 1 firefly + 1 ultra-margin car (ET9), and will probably be on the edge of releasing a 3rd Onvo and a 2nd Firefly model.
All this brand and model differentiation and recognition will boost Nio line to 30-40K cars per month with high margins 20-25% and other models to 40-60K per month, 70-100K combined, only in China. And this is not far future, this is 2025.
When Nio hit 50-60K cars each month, swapping will be a thing to talk about.
Why would anyone invest more than $20K on an unswappable car?
When you have the most aerodynamic SUV ever produced at $21K, with swapping.

ONVO is literally going to double NIO sales next year. Firefly comes Q2 next year how many cars will Nio sell in that $15, 000 range answer as many as they can make. Shorting NIO today is the same as the fool that bought NIO three years ago at $50 but worse because you can fix your mistake by averaging down and holding.

Lol.... I will finally agree that a short squeeze is helping NIO here.... along with the huge general all Chinese stock movement. Note: Shorts may indeed add more shorts as they fell that the price will retreat....BUT...NO good trader..HF or MM is going to risk additional capital to defend a position. That is just reckless, and professionals do not do this.

I just realized that lots of Tesla fanboy investors are shorting Nio... honestly speaking I am a fan of the brand but business is business.

Nothing is guaranteed but... it's the track record of how Nio's car has perform and its battery swap stations, network and innovation that convinced me that it will go a long way.
Tesla is also a good company but the valuation is absurd.

I do think that it will take a very long time before Nio will realize a proper valuation. Better to buy slowly and diversify still... Geopolitical risks is an issue for Nio; that's about it.
