Synology HyperBackup to External HardDrive | 4K TUTORIAL

Backing up the Data on your Synology NAS is really important, and Synology Hyper Backup makes it really easy to turn a cheap External Hard Drive into an on-site backup with Multi Version Backups. Multi-version backups even allow for you recover files that may have been corrupted by programs improperly save them or files that you deleted a long time ago, but did not realize that you needed.

Loved this video. I didn't know about this app. I set up my synology to backup to my Truenas server, and it works great. No more trying to remember to do it, and lose something important.

Just bought the DS1819+ so been going through your all your old videos. Really nice review and outline of the Hyper Backup tool. Thanks for putting this one out.
Going to have to figure out how long it takes before I get frustrated with a 1GB connection and splurge for the 10GBe setup/LAG configuration. Keep them coming. Idea for future video's is to possibly do an explanation of Packages you use or Docker setup that you have configured to make your life easier. Thanks!
