I sincerely do not understand the UK doing all this solar and wind turbines. Why do the environmentalists ever speak of Nuclear Energy? My goodness the US has plenty of nuclear subs under the ocean. Do you mean to tell me they cannot produce these smaller nuclear bases for on land and in communities in the UK.

In real terms the daily grocery shop is more expensive here in Portugal than it is back home . It’s easy to check and it includes paying much more for basic foodstuff such as bread. Cars are much more expensive and in the major cities, houses /rents are now in a par with the UK. This wouldn’t mean much unless you consider the depressed salaries when compared to the UK.
