Can rabies happen after 3 years of dog bite & anti rabies injection?-Dr. Anantharaman Ramakrishnan

Signs of rabies include tingling and numbness at the bite or where the rabies virus is happening and also you can have symptoms like hydrophobia where in a person is afraid of drinking water and certain other bulbar symptoms means symptoms which are attributable to the cranial nerve system. So they can be OB normal vision and they can be of normal hearing etc, but in rare cases you can have on set with the CNS symptoms itself or the bulbar symptoms itself if the bite has been in the face region. But typically if the person is lemurized against rabies the chances of actually contracting rabies are very less. If the rabies has been giving injection has been given about 3 years ago unlikely the symptoms now so if someone is actually experiencing symptoms after rabies injection or anti rabies vaccination unlikely that we have symptoms of rabies at all.

Sir, out of 5, one dose of vaccine was given in my gluteal area sir because of that would it cause vaccine to not to work Ah doctor? (Doctor saying what we gave is IM of 5 doses and their hospital regimen is different ) planning to switch the remaining doses to govt hospital

Sir i was playing with a very small puppy and later that day i fell from my cycle and when o returned home i saw a very small scratch on the skin so i dont know whether that scratch was from that puppy or when i fell from the cycle . So when the puppy bite or scratches does it hurt so that i could confirm that the wound was from felling from the cycle

I got a small scratch from a dog bite about 10 months ago. It was a small scratch without blood . The dog was in Nepal. The locals told me that the dog is vaccinated. But I still got a tetanus vaccine. The doctor told me there was no need to get a rabies vaccine cause such a small bite can't cause rabies. But I still got one dose of rabies vaccine in Nepal. I did not take any other doses. Should I be worried? Can I continue my doses after 19 months of the bite ?
