There were so many great rom hacks that were released across many different consoles that you probably missed. I mean hell, even I missed a couple of good ones this year. That is why I made this video. To give out a quick rundown on some of the best rom hacks that were released this year. You have Super Mario Bros, Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, Pokemon, and much more. I'll be covering the NES, SNES, Game Cube, Wii, Game Boy, GBA, DS, 3ds, N64 and many more in this video. Monkey is tight, Project M/ Project+ is a mod but I still call it a rom hack, Mario kart Wii too. 2020 and 2021 kinda mix together also. Super Metroid is tight. Rom Hacks and Mods will still be mentioned. Super Mario 64 also. 2020 came with the release of Pokemon DS Map Studio, which was HUGE for the pokemon rom hacking community and allows them to create their own original gen 4 games now. Remember Mario 3D All-Stars? Pokemon Factory Adventure, Pokemon Clover, and Pokemon Unbound will be talked about in future videos. Super Monkey Ball also. Super Metroid Redux is a rom hack of a rom hack of that combined two rom hacks. Released this year and highly regarded by many to be the best way to play Super Metroid right now, so there’s that. The last SM hack I played was project base so maybe I’ll check it out, and you should too. Mega Man I forgot damn. Banjo Kazooie The Jiggies of Time is still dope. No Kaze hacks sadly

Dude what an incredible video! I had no idea any of these existed! There are so many fan made games that are such high quality, even beating studio games in terms of quality and fun! Man this video is incredible there are so many mentions of cool games. The modding community is so awesome how much fun and variety it adds for totally free. This video is going to keep me busy for many months or even years with new games for me to play as I get tired of old ones and check this video out again for another idea for something to play.
