The dolphins in captivity are typically ones that can not be released in the wild due to an injury, or they were born in captivity themselves. They don't grab wild dolphins and force them to be in those pools. Part of SeaWorld business is veterinary services for wild sea life. A lot of the sea life in SeaWorld are rescues that are recovering and will be let back out to sea, or were too injured to be released. You may think it's unethical, but they help a lot of sea life on both the west coast and east coast. They don't do those Orca shows anymore. If they have orcas, they are recovering from an injury and will be re-released when they are ready. It's illegal in the US to keep Orcas for shows now.

The Mall of America in Minnesota is Americas largest mall, over 5.6 million square feet and boasts 550 stores, so Jono can get his 2 hour massage while the rest shop.

The killer whales were removed from sea world. The stadium is used as a waterski show now. Also pretty much every animal based show was completely removed from sea world except the seal show and dolphin show. The park has transformed into a thrill park with animal themed rides although they have animal exhibits penguins, small sharks, and harmless Ray species. They can’t release them so those are lifers. The park also rescues manatees during winter or when they get hit by boat propellers. They are not on display to the public instead they are nursed back to health or brought to a sanctuary where they can live in peace.

If you do have to come to America around September, make it the end of October, so you are here at Halloween. The fall is the best time of the year, especially in the Midwest and East Coast. The summer is great but nothing compares to Autumn and if you like Amusemet Parks, alot of them have Fright Fest like Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois .

I live in FL and October is one of the best months to visit - March is the other one. The humidity is less during those months. I live in Tampa Bay - and there are some really cool old Florida type attractions that you should check out - Homosassa Springs is good.

With the Super Bowl coming, if you haven’t watched Whitney Houston’s rendition of the Star Spangled Banner from 1991, it’s a must watch. No one has ever sung it better, my opinion.

Funny thing when I was your son’s age I went to Disney World then we went to Epcot and I always called another golf ball to my parents still to this day. I called the golf ball.

Busch Gardens was always my favorite, I lived in Kissimmee, rt outside of Orlando, and it was pretty nice. But everything in the bigger theme parks cost incredible money now, stick to the smaller, more affordable and family oriented places. Weather is great almost all year, just dont go in July or August, or you will bake, and get used to the 30 minute daily downpours.

Another great one is Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida. It's only an hour from Orlando. It's basically SeaWorld, but way bigger, more animals, more rides, a train, and a safari. It's also part of the SeaWorld family of parks. Also, many festivals and certain times of the year they give out free beer. They also have their own water park, Adventure Island.

I also recommend Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, SeaWorld Orlando, and the Pirate Dinner Adventure. There is also 1 or 2 trains to get you between Tampa and Orlando, along with busses or Hotel shuttles to take you the rest of the way.

That is NOT the dragon from Shrek! Shrek is a Universal franchise and Shrek Land is part of Dreamworks Land inside Universal Studios Orlando.

If you go to a mall, PLEASE make sure you go to a SIMON Mall, as in a Mall owned by SIMON Malls. They are literally the BEST kinds of malls in America!!! Any other malls are an insult by how they look!

There are 3 Malls of America. The main one is in Minnesota and the other 2 are somewhere in the Northeast.

Check crowd sites to see when theme parks and water parks are going to be not too busy. Mainly just avoid Saturdays.

Jono, you got overalls! 😁 Love it!
My husband and I went to Playa del Carmen in Mexico years ago, and swam with the dolphins. They are a lot bigger, and more powerful than you may think. I don’t really like sea animals being in Sea World. Especially orcas.
Great video! ❤ From Houston, Texas

Yeah it’s nicknamed the golf ball. It’s actually a geodesic ball hiding the spaceship earth ride. It’s a very slow omi-mover that shows the history of communication from early man to high tech computers. Its maximum pace is maybe 5 miles an hour. It’s a continuous train of ride vehicles that you go into. You ride for about 45 minutes.

I've been to Ripleys, and it does have some really cool stuff. St. Agustine in Florida is an amazing place to visit, and they have the Alligator farm too.

Discovery cove is absolutely amazing highly recommend it a lil pricey but all inclusive and they limit the amount of people allowed in per day so it’s never crowded

Malls aren’t what they used to be. There’s a lot of empty spaces in the malls today. Everyone orders online and they’re becoming obsolete.

I am Northeast of Orlando, on the coast, Daytona Beach. Over the weekend the Rolex 24 Hr. at Daytona ran. Next month is the NASCAR Daytona 500. Then in March is Bike Week. SpaceX is launching Falcon Rockets a lot. In a year of two they hope to start launching the huge Starships at the cape. I used to live in Albany, NY and we had 2 of the 5 largest malls in the US. Crossgates and Colonie Center. There is also American Crocodiles in southern FL
