MY EXPERIENCE AT THE STANFORD UNIVERSITY ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL

Hi all! Today I'm getting into my experience at the Stanford University Online High School. I've always gotten so many questions about what it was like to go to an online school, and since I went there for six years (7th-12th grade), I thought I'd share everything I learned during that process with you guys. That is an amazing story! These online classes look like something I'd love. I have always wanted to attend an online school or be homeschooled, unfortunately brazilian laws do not allow either. If I could, I would SO MUCH apply for Stanford's OHS! Hahaha.
I think the TASP interviews are coming soon! I'd love to see a video regarding how to prepare for them.

Hi, I'm entering the ninth grade next year and am thinking about applying, but I am worried about my CV not being good enough. As an insider, you would know what Stanford OHS expects a candidate to have accomplished by that time. What did most of the students do outside of school? Would you say that each person had done something out of the ordinary for their age? 

I found your video very interesting. It gave me a great insight into the way that school works.

Do you know what the break schedule is? I know there is a fall and a spring semester, but I don't know how long summer, winter, and/or spring break is or even if there are breaks.

So I have a math teacher who doesn’t do a very good job at teaching the subject ( The smartest kids in the class would only get around a 70%). Teachers would stress me out with their work and the teaching methods they use. I also live in S. Korea at the moment but will move back to the states in around 18 months. ( Not sure if that has to do with anything) I’m in 11th grade currently and I made interested in making computer games and would love to learn how to build Chuck E. Cheese like animatronics. Would OHS be a good school for me?
