Dr. Lora, your videos are literally the best! I just found out in February that I have PCOS. I'm 42 and have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 6 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at the age of 13. I have been trying to conceive for YEARS with no luck despite having regular periods and I'm sure I've had PCOS all these years without even knowing it. What brought me to see a reproductive endo in December, was because I've quickly lost almost all of my hair and have gained a good bit of tummy. After lots of labs and ultrasounds, she found PCOS, very low vitamin D, excessive testosterone, a suppressed thyroid (my endo had me on too high of a dosage) and, a good bit of insulin resistance even though my AiC is at 6.1 and my diabetes is managed. She said my case is complicated because I don't show many PCOS symptoms but I also have underlying health factors that can lead to PCOS. I have been so lost with all of this. I'm now taking all the supplements and Ovasitol, working out every day, lowering the carb intake, etc. with hopes that these symptoms will improve soon and that I still have a chance at pregnancy. This is a rough patch in life and I wish I could've caught these issues earlier. I am so thankful for videos like yours that truly break things down and give us all hope! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this info with us!

Thank you so much for this! My doctor told me that although I have PCOS, it shouldn’t be too hard for me to get pregnant because I am ovulating regularly. Which was really confusing for me to hear. But you clarified a lot of that

I wanted to comment I was on metformin for insulin resistance/pcos. I could not tolerate it due to the extreme digestive upset. However, inositol supplements, although still cause digestive issues, I've been able to tolerate way better. It did regulate I was able to get pregnant but MC at 6 weeks. I'm hopeful that I can have better success by combining it with IVF.

Thank you for your videos. Can you do a video on subchorionic hematomas? I’m 6 weeks pregnant and have a small one (1cm) one nurse said no restrictions and another said no intercourse or exercise. So now I’m just unsure of restrictions until this hopefully resolved on it’s own. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse and cause a issue. This is my second pregnancy. MMC at 13 weeks in January. No living children. ❤

all the doc that in governments hospital i receive the treatments doesn't even know about Inositol. They even scold me for consume the Inositol. I told them that my period getting regular, no hair fall, no acne, etc but they don't believe me. They said Inositol might cause for my irregular period. they ask to stop. Later I did not have my period again after stop inositol. so frustrated.

I was just diagnosed with insulin resistance PCOS. My AMH level was 6.5. Had vaginal ultrasound and they saw I have many eggs but they are being blocked by many cysts. Does that mean even if my levels show I’m ovulating the eggs are being released?

I was just diagnosed with PCOS today. Irregular cycles, elevated testosterone, missed ovulation, and high levels of DHEA sulfate. Is myo inositol a good fix for this?
