OxTalks – series one, episode three: 'Retaining world-class talent in Oxfordshire'

In this episode – which is the third in this series – OxLEP welcomes the University of Oxford’s Pro-Vice Chancellor for Innovation, Chas Bountra and Dr Rajarshi Banerjee who is the CEO of the Oxford-based health technology company, Perspectum, who also have a presence in San Francisco, Dallas and Singapore.

They discuss how can Oxfordshire ‘retain world-class talent’ across the county's globally-leading companies.

During the podcast, viewers learn more about how some of the world's most-talented people work in the county with a host of globally-significant companies calling Oxfordshire home. Last year alone, spin-outs, start-ups and social enterprises from Oxford University Innovation generated over £30 million of income.

Many of these people, and the organisations they work for, are delivering critical responses to major issues within fields like energy, medicine and emerging transformative technologies.

The podcast also explores some of the investment OxLEP has secured to support the retention of world-class talent and entrepreneurs in the county.
