NASA finally restarted a two-day dress-rehearsal countdown Tuesday for the SLS after a series of delays!
But this test is just a modified format!
NASA didn’t fuel the SLS upper stage, filling the core stage's tanks only.
Well, we waited a long time to receive an incomplete test!
But, in fact, it's not too disappointing.
Anyway, we're all used to this!
Thoughts that these delays in development would give SpaceX's Starship an opportunity to leave SLS far behind!
But nop!
SLS's delays have inadvertently created many barriers for its competitor!
As a result, Starship has not yet flown and America is losing its dominance in the space industry!

However, spacecraft development is a risky business and SpaceX is no stranger to explosions, ruptures, and failed landings.
It can be said that no company has tested rockets as many times as SpaceX.

SLS is retroactive tech. Starship is progressive tech.
SLS is Expensive AF. Starship is getting cheaper by the iteration.

Politics and engineering don't mix. NASA in the role of a nursery and guide for commercial space flight makes sense, and broker for space bound science... but not as a ship-builder anymore.

SpaceX should sue the FAA to force them to show cause why they shouldn't be allowed to proceed. Claiming they need to answer every little complaint and concern from Americans before approval is a horrible excuse and an exhibition of gross bureaucracy.

Thing with SpaceX is that there is is no fat, no bullshit, no committees, no backhanders, no politics, there is only the end goal which will expand humanities horizons at a reasonable price.

Cant remember who said it first, but i think my Favourate quote to do with SLS Vs Starship is along the lines of:
NASA spent tens of billions of dollars and 2 decades to build the largest paperweight in existence, but its not fully there fault, no-one anticipated a madman coming along and rewriting how to build rockets.

It's not just about USA now . SpaceX should flow for the world.we on the other part of world are eagerly waiting for it to take the orbital flight . The ambition is bigger than just for a country to do politics over this, it's for the humankind and it should be done irrespective of what happens to SLS. Now everyone knows SLS is gonna fail even if it lifts off due to the heavy investment involved. I want the spaceX to begin the new journey. Let's goo ✨

Can't help but chuckle at the strong overtones of hero worship. Well done, overall, and good points. I don't doubt that the 'boys club' at NASA don't want Starship to get to orbit before SLS. It also wouldn't surprise me if the FAA is colluding on that effort to prevent SpaceX from launching Starship. But, big government can't afford to let some uppity little startup beat the established champion at their own game. Problem is, the champion has apparently forgotten how to be 'the best'. I think that's the saddest part of this whole thing. I remember being a kid and wanting to be an astronaut when I grew up. Now I look at NASA and wonder where the spirit of exploration, adventure, and some risk taking went.

I'm not supprised, we all know what's going to happen to sls, the moment starship launches successfully, now everything is clear, I think Elon should take them to court and sue the crap out of them, I have a feeling this is the beginning of a new chapter for spacex.

Elon should notify the NASA Welfare Department that the next astronaut flight or cargo flight will not under any circumstances launch 'No Earlier Than' (NET) SuperHeavy/Starship.

Let us pretend that there are no paperwork holds. How long would it take to do various things? Orbit? Moon? Moon base? Mars? Mars base? Zipcode for the Martian city of Elon? Other cities? Asteroids?
