If you are on your toes, you can always move anywhere if the opponent throws a punch at you and you can also throw a fast counter punch.

You're toes are basically a built in suspension system, by moving on your forefoot it acts like a spring and it makes it a lot easier to propel yourself and generate power from the ground.

All this is why I enhance my upper-body training by performing it on -- get ready -- the balls of my feet. And thanks to a robust lower-body regimen, I have no difficulty in remaining in that stance for extended periods.

I remember 10yeats ago my 1st muay thai sparing the guys told me dont bounce stay flat and dont feint and eat them punches... bunch of d@#£% made me a human body bag.... but i learned the hard way to be on your toes 😁

Could you please tell what to do in case of callus and blisters on my feet. I've noticed that quality of footwear somehow makes the difference as well as floor covering, but still easily reach pain after two or three rounds of bouncing

Hey Tony, how do you suggest a Heavyweight properly transition from flatfooted to balls of their feet during a round and still have enough energy to make it through the rest of the rounds? Since it takes so much more energy and cardio to move something like 230-260 lbs constantly on the balls of your feet?

I'm 14 yrs old, 170, 5'8, I work out for 2-8 hrs a day 5 times a week, thinking about getting a trainer soon, I use peekaboo, I can throw hella hard jabs and hooks. If there's any other things u need me to tell you lmk because I want to go for silver gloves and if I win that then professional and if I'm good at that then I'ma try to go for world title, plz lmk🙏.

can heavyweight boxers ( over 100 kg ) box on balls of their feet? i rarely see some heavyweight like joshua or fury do this.
