Can a pill actually cure an ailment, even if that pill contains no cure? Doctors and medical researchers have discovered unexpected results from giving patients pills that aren't medicine at all. Susan Spencer reports.

my question: is there longevity with using placebos? for example, the lady in the video says shes going back on placebos at the end. but does the effectiveness of placebo wear off? maybe the brains chemical response to the physical act of taking a pill becomes less potent over time (assuming the meds arent biologically active).
