One of the best underrated bands ever.

They had a mutual friend that convinced them to play a small theater in my small rural hometown for him. They played for maybe 20-30 people tops. They performed like they were playing for thousands. They were so humble and professional and brought forth a flawless set. Played almost the entirety of their first 2 albums. It was incredible and they're so under the radar. Its a shame more don't know about them.

All of their albums are amazing. Tough to dethrone their first 2 records, but Oblivion Beckons might be their most impressive material musically. All of it slaps though.

Here's my classification for Byzantine, I would say they're Progressive Groove Metal with Thrash and Metalcore elements in some of their songs.

Jeremiad was their first "hit". I have known Chris "OJ" for years. I would put these guys up against ANY metal band. They are criminally underrated. Chris is a pure, genuinely great guy. Soul Eraser is about the opioid epidemic. You should check that one out. Love your channel. They are power groove metal. They are the BEST.
