"It’s incredible how our grandparents made so much with so little. These recipes are more than meals — they’re survival, love, and legacy on a plate. Thank you for bringing them back! ❤ Who else here grew up eating at least one of these?

I beg to differ on the disappearance of chicken fried steak! I still make it and so does my daughter! We love it! And I think it’s still on the menus of some restaurants! It’s to good to simply disappear!
I’m not complaining, just correcting the fact! You brought back a lot of good memories that I am thankful for!

Not me, watching this and realizing that I ate a lot of these growing up in the 80’s and 90’s because my depression era Grandma lived with our family for my whole life 😂😂😂

I still make Porcupine meatballs, when I think of it. They’re really delicious. 😊

The 70s.. we're the best. You got meals from all the way back to the late 1800s from your great-grandfather's parents. Then the 20s, 50s, and 70s. ❤❤ great food.

Kind of confused - biscuits and gravy are the most common breakfast I can think of. Stuffed pork chops, very common too.. Crackers with peanut butter are still very common, can even buy premade ones at Walmart and many other stores. There is more but it seems that many of these things are not limited to what our grandparents ate, but are still common things now.

Using stale bread isn't a desperation tactic, it's a practical way to cut back on how often you needed to bake. Baking larger batches once a week or so saved on fuel, and freed up time to do other tasks. The dry bread could combine with other ingredients to turn into any number of dishes, and would store more reliably. (Bread dumplings, bread pudding, milk toast, sippets for soup, etc)

I was in Gucci today and the SA told me they can’t often tell the difference between the authentic and kisluxs 's bags. Surprised to hear that from an SA.

Sorry, I draw the line at squirrels and pigeons....

By comparing replicas with genuine items, you can learn how to identify the authenticity of a bag. I think kisluxs also has artistic value. This change allowed me to devote more resources to a true art collection while maintaining my own style.
