I've never done this before! I made an annual budget and projected out what my target savings rate will be for every month in 2023! If you're in the financial independence retire early movement, then you know keeping a high savings rate is key- and this is one of the financial goals I have set for myself for 2023! The FIRE movement is still going strong, and i hope I can take advantage of the struggling stock market as much as possible!

So I’ve realized as I watched back through- I didn’t include plane ticket prices for my Sweden trips in the budget… darn… knew I’d forget things.😅

LOVED it
I watched the whole thing
Love how open you are about the numbers
I live in Alberta Canada and pay over 30% in taxes on my gross income
It's amazing how little you pay in north Carolina very jealous 😆
Keep up the great work
I would love to strive for over a 40% savings rate for next year as well
I hope you never stop making these videos 💗💗

Great video! I just did mine and it gives me so much peace knowing where all my money is going and what I'll be able to afford. Without side hustle money, I'll be putting $28, 680 after tax money to my ROTH, emergency savings and some car debt (added that because I'm trying to pay the remainder) and ~15k to my 401k. I watched all the way through, great job!!! ❤️

Great video as usual!😊 what about sinking funds though? Like for example your car breaks or you have a birthday coming and you want to buy a gift for someone? Or Christmas gifts? Or just life happening and throwing curve balls at you? How do you account for the unexpected? I never see you pulling from an emergency fund or anything and it has me wondering how you plan to take care of those things?🤔 I hope everything goes according to plan obviously but it worries me to not see a backup plan or just some money set aside in case something goes wrong!
Xoxo from France 😘

Dave Ramsey version: Stop the 403b immediately. Use that $710/month to attack debt. Sell $555 /month vehicle. Buy a 10 year old car, with cash from sale of current car. That frees up total $1265 to attack debt every month. Just an idea.

I also made our first annual budget this year (we've been monthly budgeting for years now), and I did the same thing: I just used our expected income. We're likely going to make extra, but that's just gravy, and we don't want to bank on it!

This is awesome! Don't kick yourself too much about airfare- you can pay for it with the OT you purposely didn't include 😁

🤣I made my annual budget template, but I've never made a video about it. So YES! team never made an annual budget💚💚I run my monthly budget on the minimum I hope to make from my commissions every month.

When I did my fiance visa I did not use a lawyer, just a visa guy that helped put documents together. Looking back, I coulda done everything meself. Definitely don’t pay lawyer for it if your case is fairly straightforward.
