I miss jim morrison .. in his short life he put alot of renowned poets to shame with his own poetry and his music but out of all Jim's work I find his poetry to be the best of all on the american prayer album I keep returning to this album more than most of his other albums and I have them all .. RIP JIM MORRISON

Jim Morrison is magical to listen to, a blessing, a true Shaman. I named my son Shaman in Jm's honour, actually. His words touched me very deeply - in my soul - the very 1st time I heard them when I was aged 13, and every time since.

I went through a huge Doors phase when I was about 17 or 18 years old back in the 80s. Then I didn't listen to them for probably about 20 years. I don't know why. But when I started again I found I like American Prayer the best.
