Many sub schools of narcissist operate the facade and Mid Range Narcissists are extensive users of the facade. What purpose does it serve, how does it manifest and how is it different for LMR, MMR and UMR.

It's kind of confusing to me, all the schools right now. He just passed away 2 months ago. I'm still dealing with that, another death in the family and finding out my way alone again after 40 years with two different narcs, completely different in ways but the same. Lol. I just needed to vent here a second. Pay no attention to me.

Spot on!!!! Always could change personalities depending on who he was trying to impress. At home, behind closed doors, with the family, he was cruel, rude, abusive to me and the children. Out in public, people would say to a charming, funny, sweet man you are married to. Those statements made my head swim in confusion. Thanks for this wonderful explanation. I know it’s not me now. But oh how I tried so hard to fix myself so he would love me like he does everyone else. The way he used to love me.. HG firstly I want to say how great your work is on utube, you will be helping thousands around the world get some sort of closure to the madness that goes hand in hand with having relationships with these people. Could you please to a video on how it would manifest in female friendships. Iv just found out that a friend I have know for all my life is one...the shock has been devastating to me. Iv poured my heart and soul into that relationship...as soon as iv hinted enough via text ( which is most of our relationship as we live in different states) that a friend has been playing games...I get a defensive text, followed by silence for over a week now!!....a text that says they have dozens of people to vouch what a wonderful person they are bla bla ..which seemed odd as I never said it was them directly. I suspect an angle with a dirty face...over the top gift buying and do gooder type....a facade of absolute perfectionism..please help .

Very useful! Sadly I can relate and was ensnared, triangulation is horrible. Especially when it leads to a double betrayal. I have recently made my departure and discarded my wife who is a covert, Subscribed!
