when Kat ("Jesse") replaced my voice (I'm the original TTS voice) I received many nasty emails saying they hated her voice and I am so glad that narrative has changed because I knew she was a person and she is so nice.

I remember her in high school. Still as cheery and lovely. Way to make the Doyle Alumnis proud

Hearing her regular voice after hearing the weirdly cheerful TTS is crazy

Well now I feel bad for hating hearing her voice all the time, she's lovely!
And yes, they use AI to replicate her voice to say anything. She did have to speak a lot to gather a good amount of data to train the AI, but no need to say every single word that exists.

Hearing the tts is like listening to a teaser of a song and the real voice actor is like hearing the entire song

her voice sounds and can actually be iconic, like sportscasters' voices

Imagine hearing your own voice in every single TikTok video you scroll through

Eventually I hope her automated voice will sound more like her voice in RL.

So she is the voice who mispronounces so many words.

Man the 2 lady’s working at Ryan’s station are so annoying. Can’t stand to hear them.

It’s not her or her voice that’s annoying, it’s the people who use it for useless life hacks or stupid pranks or to say something bad in a cheery way that winds people up, just like people overusing the word “wholesome” to describe everything
