Advanced Warfare In Depth: HBRa3 Insanity Elite Variant Review

The HBRa3 Insanity is one of the best weapons in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and is a great way to start out our variant reviews. It has a massive rate of fire buff and damage buff. Every time I open a supply drop I hope I get a MORS Quickbolt, an ASM1 Speakeasy, or anything good, and I always get a pair of pants or reinforcement or something I'll never use. Thanks, Sledgehammer.

I wish he would do a test of :

1: The other special weapons like rocket launchers and the crossbow...just for the fun of it.

2: A thing that many may know but i don't. Penetration. Does the bigger weapons go through more people easier than a smg? I know that a sniper can go through 2 people at the same time if they are aligned, but can the AR's do that too? Also a thing that i have experienced is that if a teammate runs in front of me it seems like i can't shoot an enemy through him but the enemy shooting at us will hit us both at the same time. I would just like an in depth about that.

Gun variants are good, the way you get them (random supply drops) is not!

It should be a challenge system similar to unlocking other items, for example you could have to complete one challenge for enlisted weapons, two for professional and three for elite; challenges could be something like "get 100 hip fire kills" and similar.

The supply drop system is one of the most poorly executed ideas in gaming history. The fact that there exist uber-powerful version of already great guns which can only be gotten through sheer random luck is just completely idiotic. Not to mention some weapons, the ARX in particular, are absolute trash unless you luck out and get the Hole Puncher/Steel Bite.

God I hope they never bring back supply drops.

I'm not a CoD fan, I'm a Battlefield fan. I don't even play Call of Duty.
Except the singleplayer campaigns. Yes, I'm insane, I know.

But I do pop up here from time to time and watch a video or a few... So, in my personal opinion, spacing out the CoD with some other stuff isn't a bad thing. I'll get to watch even more stuff. ;)
(And, in the AW SP, I found the HBRa3 the most enjoyable... so when YouTube recommended me this video, I knew I had to see it.)

I hate the supply drop system, i have 2 days played, my most used gun is the kf5 and the only elite gun i get is the Paytek i hate this game for that i cant play it anymore, its too frustrating

Why are people hating on the supply drops? My favorite variant I have is a professional grade MP-11 but I could honestly do without it. None of the variants are unbalanced or anything, and sort of have their balances. Sure the supply drops need some tweaking (seperating weapon and clothing, and a trade system like in CSGO) but honestly i think it is a fantastic idea! Making guns that have sort of these different stats from the normal gun, making playing with that gun and adapting to the different or more extreme version of the role meant to be played with that gun it a lot of fun! Honestly, the insanity is tied to it's role much better than the regular HBRa3, and while it could use some balancing it isn't that good. You can do without the variants.
