About a week ago I locked myself out of the house and in order to get in I had to squeeze through the fence to get through to the backyard, all I could think to myself was thank God I lost that 80 lb on carnivore diet or I never would have fit. 😂

Back in the day at Snohomish High School, we had a health teacher who was also a tennis coach. Her classroom was a direct shot from the corner of the old A building to the tennis courts behind the Performing Arts Center, except there was a pole between the building and the chain link fence around the courts, so she had to walk all the way around until maintenance cut the pole out. She was huge and stocked her desk with candy bars, though she claimed she had a gland problem.

You can start in elementary school. I went to the zoo with my granddaughter and was at awe that literally 3 out of 5 kids were obese. I have heard (not confirmed) that 25% of children have non alcoholic fatty liver syndrome. I believe it.

The last time I saw my ever-benevolent mother-in-law, she shared her opinion that it’s mean-spirited and rude for a doctor to tell a patient they are overweight—unless the patient is facing imminent and severe health issues. She remains unconvinced that obesity is a significant contributor to the many health issues plaguing our society. It goes without saying that she’s obese, my husband is overweight, her 12-year-old grandson is also obese, and my sister-in-law has more than doubled her weight over the past 15 years😢

That's just a poorly designed, public health measurement tool, for a person of certain height with minimal muscle. Doesn't work for anyone else, except that one person they used to design it with. Nothing shaming about it, either.
