Fashionista #90 with the June sculpt has definitely skyrocketed in price. I've found some online going for upwards of $40, I think one went up to $90.

I actually got a Marie doll at a flea market two or three years ago! The only other dolls on this list I own are the Kens... And even then, 2 out of 3 of the ones I own are second hand haha!

Every doll featured in this video I own. A few are still their original packaging because I bought multiple. As far as the Happy Family Grandparents the African American (which I also own) sell for way more than their Caucasian counter parts. You can catch the Caucasian pair for a good price all the time, but the African American are always 100 +.

We used to find a lot of those dolls at thrift stores, but since the pandemic, we haven't seen any of them in a really long time. So, I agree that they seem to be more rare these days. I have a couple of the grandmas, but I never found a grandpa. I think the African American version of those dolls are even harder to find and more expensive! The most expensive doll that I have, as far as I know, is the recalled School Time Fun Oreo African American Barbie. I found her at a peddler's mall for $10. She is worth over $130 on today's market, but I have seen her sell for much higher prices in the past. ~ Sunny

Ha! Thanks for sharing this, it explains why I haven't been able to find that Curvy MTM Dancer. I wanted her body to make my mini me because of the skin tone and she's impossible to find at a decent price. Welp, there's why! XD Mattel really needs to make another MTM curvy with the tan skin tone already!

I have every doll in the video, duplicates of some. I totally missed the rise in price of the two MTM gals, I had to check that one but you were right. Another one that would fit into this collection is Jack Sparrow. I remember a short time where I could get him at rock bottom prices, then he suddenly shot up (luckily I saved one in box)

I have the Barbie Look Sweater Dress doll, and let me tell you, she is the most expensive doll I own. I paid 330 USD for her new in box in 2020. In the two years since, you can now only find her new in box for 800+ USD. If you just want her DRESS its over 60 USD for that! I’ve never taken mine out of her box because even though I don’t collect dolls for their value, I want to keep her in as good of condition as possible in case I ever do sell her.

I've just recently started buying the Happy Family dolls NIB online to start up a collection. I've always wanted them as a kid so it's awesome that I can buy them now as an adult.

I own happy family grandma and grandpa. I was able to get them a few years ago on ebay for 56.00 (24.99 ea plus combined shipping). Grandpa came in only pants, grandma came in random outfit. I'm so happy I own them cause I love them. I wish they'd do another older looking set. Thanks for sharing this info.
