I enjoyed your videos of your 1970s dolls and sharing your childhood with the memories. When you chuckled, I chuckled. I have been a doll collector 45+ years, and some of my dolls are in the same condition. I began collecting for me daughter when she was a little girl. Now I am an old woman, but the dolls still bring a smile to my face. Thank you for sharing your childhood with us. I truly enjoyed it. Ps Your mom is a great seamstres.

I definitely want to see unboxings of those two series! This was a very fun watch! Thanks for the tips, too!

I’ve found some REALLY nice Barbies at the thrift store….even some in made-to-move bodies.😊

I’ve only been a doll collector for a very very short time and I already have 50+ dolls so I’m trying to slow down, as I don’t want so many that it’s no longer enjoyable. I only started collecting because I’m building a dollhouse for my great granddaughter and I’ll be giving her a lot of my collection…just not my favs. I love your collection but I like displaying my dolls so I can see them daily.

I also have a few of my childhood Barbie's from the 80s left, though I hope I get my hands on 3 of them again, which broke or got lost, but still live rent free in my head. ;) My great aunt Emily used to collect dolls (porcelain dolls). As kid I wondered, why an old lady would do that and not allow me to touch her dolls. Now I am her age as she was that time and I collect dolls and would rip someone's arms out if they'd harm my dolls. 😂 I do collect Barbies, Defa Lucy, Disney (30cm) dolls and Rainbow High. Preferedly red heads. Since my health went kinda downhill and I had to reduce my working hours, I had to shrink my doll budget. Now I really have to restrain myself and rethink, if I really need that doll in my life or if I can do without them. So there are at the moment 2 I save up to. The new looks red head and the Disney ily 4ever Stitch red head. Living in Europe makes it harder for us doll collectors anyways, as the dolls are so much harder to get and more expensive. And in my area thrift stores which have something else then clothes like toys are not common at all. But well I do have a nice collection, but Ariel would say "I want more".

I am a red head by choice since about 30 years, first time dye was as I was 14.
