Is there a minimum amount of items I should have (a minimum volume) before I run a sale or an Ad? My concern is that if my shop look skimpy it may not be a good first impression. Thanks!

I opened my shop a month ago and the only person who bought anything was my brother. I've put around 200 hours into the shop and making my nearly 70 listings, 6 hours after work every weekday, 16 hours a day on the weekend. I've got Everbee, Erank and Marmalead, all say nice listings, good keywords. But nothing. I feel like I'm wasting my time trying to lift myself out of poverty.
