A non-political visit to the George W. Bush Presidential Library - Dallas, Texas

The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum in Dallas, Texas was more interesting than we expected. From the moving 9/11 exhibit to a replica of the Oval Office to thought provoking interactive exhibits, we show you some of the highlights we found on our tour of this Presidential library!

We try to not get political in our videos. We do travel to historically significant places and the politics of long ago are sometimes discussed. But in this video, we are visiting a Presidential library for the first time. And the library was created in honor of a President who served relatively recently. While we don't mind hearing your political opinions about this President whose library we are visiting - we have no desire for the comments section of our videos to become overly political. So we have set the comments section to require approval before they are posted. And we will not be approving political messages. We do encourage you to get involved in the political process in whatever part of the world you find yourself - but we don't want our travel channel to be a part of that process. I'm ashamed to admit we haven't visited a Presidential Library either, Alice and Jack. (and we have a few years on you too) What I'm more ashamed to admit is we live in central Illinois. Right down the road, (less that an hour) in Springfield, is the grave and library of a special man. A "penny" for your thoughts on who you think that may be! (a bust may or may not be found here in your video) So many times we've passed close by. Next time we need to pull in! We enjoyed your visit to this one and seeing all the mementos of his Presidency. Loved the living mural and Oval Office replica! Loved the 9-11 remembrances. One day in our history that we were all on the same page! Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Good clarification statement in the beginning. We love this presidential library. We used to do a field trip with the kiddos here. They have the other Bush (dad) library in Bryan College Station in the A&M campus. We’ve been to many presidential libraries; especially when I was a kid. My parents couldn’t take a vacation with including Atleast one capital building or presidential library. 😂😂. You did a great job touching on the highlights of the museum.
