Wow, 2 months and no reply from Vittoria. I ended up going for Pirelli Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain tires and I'm super happy with them. No marketing BS.

The Terreno Dry is nice to ride. Fun! But it only lasts for 800 km...mostly asphalt. My Schwalbe Marathon did its job for nearly 2500 km.

Wait a minute, how is it that "in the cornering and braking direction the fish scales stand up"? Wouldn't the direction of the tire need to be flipped around to get the benefit of both sides of the metaphorical "fish scales"?
