So... this did NOT work for me... initially! but it put me on the right path. Deleting these 3 folders did nothing for me. what did thouh was deleting everything in the CONFIG folder. game started right away. but ofc all the settings were deleted - no problem, i had a backup in the cloud and loaded it (you can do so when entereing the ingame "settings" menu - there should be a "save / load settings" drop-up-box in the bottom right corner. hopefully having uploaded a backup at some point before... ;) )

what happened then though was that with these seetings loaded, the game didn't start again after closing it!....

the only critical option i could think of was having DIRECTX12 enabled in the avanced graphics settings.

so, again.. deleted the config folder, loaded my backup settings but THIS TIME changed directx version to DIRECTX 11 ENANCEND... and the game kept starting again after closing it!

hope this helps others too who had dx12 enabled...

Guys if still you have the problem try to enable the smooth frame rate from pubg settings it fixxed mine

So, my issue isn't the "loading" or "initializing" screen, it's the "unloading" screen after the game ends. It takes more than 2 minutes to get me out of the game. I tried this, now I need to play a game. I will update this to tell ya if it worked.
UPDATE: It did not work for me unfortunately...

I try to open pubg from epic and it freaking says "can't initialize steam" like wtf? What does steam have to do with this???
