DO NOT MICROWAVE YOUR WIG. I did it and damaged it. First the comb started sparking. Dipped it back in the conditioner "water bath" and was not able to save it. There were clumps everywhere. My one wig is damaged. Save yourself the confused faces of coworkers when they see that you had long hair the day before and the next you show up with shorter hair in a ponytail.

I did all of these steps MINUS the bag and microwave and my wigs came out GREAT. I also laid them out on a towel to dry.

Instead of microwaving your wig, get a wet towel or rag and put that in the laundry dryer and after put your wig in that for on minute. It's better than burning your house down with a plastic bag.
