Aside from showering and using deodorant, you can wipe the area with either Witch Hazel or glycolic acid before applying deodorant.
Another suggestions would be washing the area either with Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid or Hibiclens while in the shower.
If you also struggle with excessive sweating than i would suggest you try an antiperspirant like Driclor or Certain Dri, than if you want to you can apply deodorant for scent.
Some of these may cause irration or dryness, just read up some reviews and see what works best for you, hope this was somewhat helpful. 👍

Underarms smell like rotted celery just like the weed from the dispensary has a taste of..I think it's grown in old celery farm dirt
