How to chill your wine faster

Nestle the bottle into an ice bucket and layer with ice and salt. The salt lowers the temperature and will chill quicker in about 20 minutes. Studies have shown that if you put the bottle into the freezer, it will take about 1 hour to chill. If it is a blast freezer than that is another story but at home our freezers are jam packed as well so probably not at their optimum temperature.

If you add water it cools even faster. Just make sure to add enough salt.
