It’s a honest look at a famous family behind the lights. I don’t feel it’s a family’s “dirty laundry.” No one in the documentary is trying to tear down anyone. It’s wrongs done to each through their lives & the struggles to continue to move forward. Very thoughtfully & sensitively done. Blessings to Wynonna, Ashley & family🙏🏻💖

I'm taping this, sounds interesting. However, I don't think Naomi ever got enough credit for getting The Judds heard, she worked for years before the music industry signed them. Love Wynonna, but if I had a mum like Naomi, I'd be beyond grateful. Both Ashley and Wynonna are wealthy because of Naomi. There are lots of us out here who were not fortunate to have someone like Naomi in their family!

Naomi had a difficult life with depression abuse and hepatitis C. RIP Naomi.

The stories I have read from people who knew Naomi have always been good. They say she was a kind and friendly woman. It is a shame that there is so much pain and mental health issues in all the members of this talented family.

As a therapist who is from the South, I'm glad they are taling about all of this "stuff." The South and Southern Culture has a few serious problems. Mostly they stem from "Evangelical Christianity" which is in fact NOT Christianity. Evangelicals too often reduce life to cultural norms of behavior, being polite, "nice" and not taling about hard truth. So a LOT of awful things are never allowed to be spoken of. It comes from the English Royal Family's ideas about "proper" human behavior, etc. No one can really live it without going nuts, it's not emotionally sustainable. There is a great expression in 12 Step Recovery programs, "We are only as sick as our secrets" and the South is brimming over with smelly, dark, awful secrets. It's always better to talk them OUT. I'm so glad the daughters are doing so.

I met Naomi and Wynonna many times. My visits with Naomi were always just like talking with an old friend. She was always very kind and welcoming. I hope this isn’t to vilify someone who can not defend themselves anymore. Obvious from reading Ashley’s book that Naomi wasn’t the perfect mother but no need to go there now that she’s gone.

The world and the show-business world needs to humanize seriously the people living in it. Those artists burst into the scene with there traumas but the heads of the record companies don't care about the mental health of their artists. They are humans too, not hits machines just there to make Too much pressure on them and in end in dramas. Lessons has to be learned and changes has to be made NOW. So many performers from the past who are no longer here and now (Justin Bieber) are sick of the star-system who is so cruel and demanding.
