Well explained Mr Trapper, these are really sad times, we shouldn't goad or call down Trump supporters, i suspect they realize the end is near, the only reason Trump hasn't stepped down yet, as president, he thinks he is above the law of the land.

The point is, the Trump-o-sphere operates and sustains itself solely on repetition and obfuscation. Guiliani says those things ONLY for the people who are inclined to believe him. Those sound bites stick with supporters. They can't lose any of that 38%. Trump repeatedly saying, "look at all the great things we've done", without naming any of them, is a perfect example.
