I'd include runs from the British Invasion, like Swamp thing, Watchmen and Killing Joke by Alan Moore. There's also Crisis on infinite earths, and God Loves Man Kills - two stories that still resonate with me today.

As a kid in the 80’s I loved the Indiana Jones, Masters of the Universe and Thundercats comics. More recently Frank Millers DD run are the only 80’s comics i have read besides European ones like Asterix, Red Knight, Blue Coats and The rise and fall of the Trigan empire.
