The fear of public spending is what got us in this mess in the first place, Labour need some backbone when it comes to this.

when somebody repeatedly shows you that they are timid and conservative ... stop trying to imagine that they will ever be anything other than timid and conservative!

Starmer should’ve dared the country to vote conservative, and acted more boldly, the Labour campaign has been pathetic and scared of its own shadow

They could abolish the bloody Lords and replace it with a Senate if they really wanted to do something that doesn't cost money. Why are they so cautious on the constitution? Most timid Labour government in terms of the constitution ever as far as I can see. No PR either. It's pathetic.

Let’s hope so. TNS’s take on this is bang on the money.

Why vote for them, why make excuses for them. Why support the position that there is no money to tax ? If you’re a centrist Dad, Keir Starmer is the man of your dreams, if you want major investment in health, education, the environment and a transformative politics, is Keir Starmer going to become your man, I doubt it.

Citizens want better services, more services but only if it costs them nothing. That's why the conservatives tend to win and then lose badly and return to power cutting services but cutting personal tax. Business never likes labour as profit is their only focus😊
