Both Andre-Pierre Gignac and D'Alessandro were amazing Enganches for me a few FMs ago, and now I'm looking for ~35 year olds with great mentals to fit that role for me again lol

Great video as always! You are 1000% correct about needing width surrounding the enganche. In my experience, it’s far too easy for opposing DMs to mark him out of the game if you don’t stretch them out enough.

I’d love to see the IFB next, it’s a role I’ve just started experimenting with with very interesting results

Definition of an enganche is Jari Litmanen. Guy played so long he couldn’t move so he just stood behind strikers and threaded passes until he retired

I play with an enganche and two strikers were one is advanced forward and other trequerista. They match so good.
