The adult only QR code incident reminds me of something that happened in the animaniacs reboot the same year. When The Brain gives a fake number to call for world domination and it turned out the number actually lead to an adult only phone line.

Speaking of the QR Code thing, Heinz had a similar thing happen with ketchup bottles.

Bottles would have once taken you to a Heinz created website... But Heinz let the domain lapse and someone bought the domain and made it a XXX thing.

I’m just surprised That the Burger King pokeball controversy isn’t number 1 because of how infamous it is because it even got a PSA announcement on tv which is VERY RARE for any recall on products even others have parodied or made psa ads similar to the Pokeball PSA

Ok so as much as burger king is in the wrong for not recalling the pokéball toys or at least putting out a warning _way_ sooner than they did, i also have to ask...

Even with these missteps (no pun intended), I still have some happy memories from old McDonald's toys. My bionicle ones are my favorite.

The Back to the Future cartoon wasn't too bad from what I remember, a lot of the cartoon's focus was on Jules and Verne, mostly. There were also some live action bits with Christopher Lloyd reprising Doc's role but it was campy Saturday morning cheese.

The pokeball thing wasn't really BK's fault. Parents need to supervise their kids when playing with toys, especially kids that was way too young to even have thin plastic anyway. It's not fair that every kid had to sent back their toys just because some parents were stupid and didn't look after their babies properly

As a responsible adult, I would like to formally apologize to all the McDonald's employees I used to bother in my youth about their toys in my kids meals. I used to complain about not getting the "right toy" (I used to always get the toys labelled for boys then), but since none of them were these, I feel a lot better about my obscure kids toys collecting dust.

Hey strider I just want to say how much I love your videos! I remember the first video I’ve ever watched of yours I was beginning 6th grade and now I’m about to finish my freshman year of college! You’ve come such a long way and I just really like the positive, informative, and happy attitude you have! I also really like the switch ups you’ve been doing lately with talking about toys and food rather than just cartoons! One video I would absolutely LOVE if you could do is a top 10 cancelled Nickelodeon video games video! There are so much games that never came to be such as a cancelled nicktoons unite game and racing game and I would love to hear your thoughts on them!
