Great interview. I'm surprised in this day and age that artists don't walk down the street and see people. As an artist I see all different kinds of Black Folks. Different Black racial combinations, hair styles, textures. The language, colloquialisms, regional mannerisms. Foods and what you call certain food.

There’s nothing different if you’re a black comic book artist. Your skin color doesn’t matter no matter what race you are as an artist.

I still remember him drawing Captain Marvel. He's not the only black 🎨 Whatever happened to Steven Hughes who created Lady Death for Choas? comics

Hey it doesn't matter the race! As long as an artist can do the job then awesome I don't care about the color of the artist.

Nothing wrong with black people making comics, I just wish people would stop making white character's black. Just make new characters, it works both ways man. No making black character's white, like blade don't you dare make him white.
