Some people are saying things that are along the lines of "Wednesday doesn't smile like that for Gomez and Morticia because they really can't cut it and don't try to understand her like Uncle Fester." Which is entirely untrue. Though fictional characters, they are some of the best parents a child could have. They both would do anything for any of their children, they show them how it's possible for a person to still be head over heels in love for their parter even after decades of marriage, (they're also probably the best couple in television history in my personal opinion.) and they show endless encouragement into what their kids hold interests in, even if they don't understand why.

People just seem to forget that damn near all children around Wednesdays age (remember the role is that of a teenager) are moody and relatively unresponsive to almost everything their parents say.

Uncle Fester is still amazing nonetheless. Although there are lots of kids who are and were unfortunate to not have the awesome uncle that some of us do or did, it's easy to see why she broke into a purely genuine smile when she sees him.

The confidence that a child has in their badass uncle or super awesome aunt (can't forget their power to elicit pure joy) is amazingly uplifting for a child and young adult, and is (almost) always unbreakable.
