It's amazing how you also give great advice for free on a channel that already has so much meaningful educational content. Hats off to you, Brad.

Yea i try preaching this to my audience all the time. No matter what field you are in you need to have an exit plan the idea that you have to stay working for a company forever its just dumb specially with the skills we have. We are blessed to know something that can help us build any type of business we can think of.... again great video I'm really enjoying these type of videos

Man, you're just an amazing, kind, loving human being. You are literally saving my life. Dropped out of a Chemical Engineering degree to dedicate myself fully to web dev. Soon, I'll be leaving Venezuela, my country, to move to Argentina to pursue a better life. Things in my house economically are getting really, really bad. I can barely eat twice a day and things in Venezuela are getting even worse. What you do is helping me BIG TIME. Your videos are so full information, I spend all the time of my days coding and watching your videos. Found some small jobs on the internet freelancing, where I was able to make money so I can leave this place. Everything thanks to you. Thank you very, very much. You are helping me to change my life. I'm only 21 and for the first time in my short life, I feel like I can actually have a future, thank to this. Keep doing you, brother. You have a huge community backing you up. I hope to be able to support your patreon soon.

Hey Brad, thanks for the nice words and advice. I'm a webdeveloper for about 6 years now, full time. Last year I was working on a really big project for my company. I put a lot of effort and time into it and I was very proud of that piece of work. The Project was a success. A few months later I went to my boss and asked him for the leadership of the next project. He said something like this: "No. You just started in this industry. You have no experience in leading a group of people. Some people work years for such a position." As you can imagine such words are really depressing. I spoke to a friend of mine and she gave me a book about entrepreneurship and how to build self esteme for yourself. It was inspiring. One technique in that book was to go into yourself and find the goals and dreams that you have (short term but also long term) and write the ten most important ones on a piece of paper. Then you chase those goals. If you accomplish a goal you cross it out and copy the hole list and add a new goal to it. I'm doing this for about 10 months now. One goal on this list was to start my own business. And one month ago I did it!

Long story short. If you feel that you can do more than working 9-5 then do it. If you have an idea, plan it out and start doing it. I don't know if my business will be successful but I have a plan and stick to it. Thanks again for this type of content. Greetings from Germany.
ps. I don't know the name of the book because I gave it back.

The thing that makes him different from other YouTubers is that he doesn't make his journey sound like a fairy tale. He doesn't make you believe that if u work hard for a year or two, you won't need to put that effort anymore. He shares his struggles and his journey. Keeping it real is what makes him standout from others. Huge shout-out 👏👏

I have learned a lot from this channel - what i like most is, it is like an all round development of an individual, rather than focusing of technical skills. I thank for that from the bottom of my heart.

Brad this is exactly what I needed. I just started a 9-5 job as a developer and while it is great I want to build my own stuff and be like you in leaving that 9-5 lifestyle. Thank you for this video it motivates me to continue learning and taking step by step on achieving the goal. Much love man.
