NEET 2024 Row: “Cheating, paper leak…” Nitin Vijay (NV Sir) raises concerns after SC’s notice to NTA

The Supreme Court has issued notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Centre on a batch of petitions raising concerns about paper leaks and seeking a CBI investigation into the alleged instances of paper leaks in the conduct of the NEET-UG 2024 exam on May 5 this year. Professional teacher and Petitioner Nitin Vijay (NC Sir) on June 14 raised concerns over the developments in the examination process. He said, “We have two main concerns - paper leak and grace marks. Now that NTA has accepted that grace marks were awarded to some students, then why is the chance of re-test given only to those students who filed writ petition in High court not to those who filed complaints only with local authorities? How can an aspirant from a village file a petition in court? NTA should open a window to invite complaints, verify them and then conduct Re-NEET. Ranks have inflated due to cheating and paper leak. The future of 24 lakh students is at stake. Shouldn't every aspirant get a fair chance?”

Stop. I repeat STOP doing non-Computer Based Tests. JEE Mains and Advanced never face such issues. My sister also had the exact same problem 2yrs back - when papers were distributed 30min late - but no compensatory extra time was provided (question paper seals were also broken). She gave up on her dream to become a doctor. All because of such a blasphemously incompetent and corrupt National Testing Agency. I'm guessing thousands of crores were involved.

Same issue was raised in supreme court by PhysicsWallah's advocate but judge clearly declines re test for everyone stating that other kids have not filed a petition hence they dont have a problem.
