The National Testing Agency (NTA) issued a clarification regarding compensatory marks awarded in NEET-UG 2024, addressing concerns raised by candidates. Compensatory marks were granted based on a few writ petitions and recommendations from a Grievance Redressal Committee. A total of 1563 candidates received grace marks for time lost, while two candidates secured exceptionally high scores. Out of 67 toppers, 44 received grace marks due to a revision in answer keys and 6 due to time loss. NTA denies any paper leak. The issue has sparked reactions from various quarters.

In several cases, students NEET score card mark is very less, compared to OMR response sheet actual mark.

how many students downloaded OMR sheet or candidates response sheets and checked their marks using the Answer key released by NTA?
Many believed NTA score card results are 100% correct.

Appoint 10, 000 teachers and verify scanner results manually...

21 lakhs OMR sheets, how many teachers & how many days?...but considering efforts of lakhs of students, NTA should consider re-evaluation of results of all students.(Not only those who went to court)..many village students, don't even aware.

Few Teachers can show partiality, because students name is in OMR sheet (new scam).
