A solution was needed as subsoil poured in through a breach in a basement wall. A few strategically placed boards and a bit of ingenuity cemented this problem for good.

Dropped my $800 iphone down ALL the CB holes in my garage wall from the top down to 1 course below the poured cement floor! Smacked the wall out of 2 cement blocks and was just able to reach it! Holes are just from the inside and will not let dirt in BUT THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I IMAGINED I SHOULD DO IT! Thank you so so much! Calling my hardware for that patch RN!!!

Never pour concrete around a bare copper pipe! The pipe needed to be wrapped in tape to isolate it from the corrosive effects of concrete.

Anyone rummaging around YouTube for a proper fix, this is NOT it. Vinyl patch is not adequate to repair a giant hole in poured concrete. You require a non-expanding epoxy or like material such as Sikagrout 214.

Should have left more room around copper pipe for vibration. Nice job though looks good!

Thanks for some ideas on how to fix the hole near the exterior foundation my garage door. Nowhere near as big as the video but enough for a small mouse to come in.

Great video! The best one since I looked at a ton of them for my specific problem! Unfortunately, my hole is quite bigger but I was wondering if #1 Did you have to deal with any mold first? #2 As for the dirt you had to dig first, did you vaccum first with a Shop Vac before putting in the cement? Thanks again for sharing!
