There are almost 40, 000 homeless in Silicon Valley. People don't just live in RVs they live in their vehicles many in fact that I have met are working poor that have jobs some even have two jobs but that still cannot afford the rent. However these people are necessary for our economy they just can't leave, if they did we'd have to find someone else to do the work they're doing that is as an until the computer industry builds robots to do the work for us. We therefore really need to find a housing solution and stop treating the Working Poor like they're criminals!

Why are you complaining? Isn't this what you voted for?

So when do we start talking about the housing crisis and lack of affordability for literally everyone that doesn’t make 6 figures a year?

I feel for them. Who the hell wants to see motorhomes down the block ? I personally hate r.v.s they make the place look bad and you just don't know who's hanging out in them.

It's nothing new...people in the US used to live together multigenerationally to afford housing. Or, OMG, 6 in my family to 1 bathroom was the norm for middle class in the 1950s & 60s. Some had 10 in a family...1 bathroom 4 bedrooms.Collegr students shared bedrioms..& some working singles not in rekationships with each other. So also, expectations have changed. We all want a bigger nicer place with more privacy. It's just not sustainable or rational. As we get crammed together onto tinier lots, we want more breathing space.
