Love your style, enthusiasm, presentation, and genuine concern for the retail customer getting value for money by not wasting it on shop bought OLD worn out adults with no eggs left. That said, you make no mention of smell. Do you not use a general substrate (outside of the feeding and laying trays) such as vermiculite to contain and damp down the odour? or are you content to just put up with any obnoxious odours? I'm trying to get something to keep them at the right temperature range. I've got 2 heat pads but they're not good enough and it's making me violently angry. What can I get to keep them warm? It's around 15°.
