So many people believe they have an "old injury" that hasn't healed. Here's my take on that.

Dan, This is a great video. Very good explanation of how pain becomes chronic.

Dan, you should do a video on if TMS can start out with a real injury and become TMS after it has healed.

Also do you believe this to be true?

I have a meniscus tear in my left knee but I I think it is TMS now because it doesn't make sense when the pain comes and goes.

I have RSI so bad right now that I can't use my thumbs, I've had multiple MRIs they find little things but nothing major yet. EMG in a week and a half.
I'm trusting in God to heal me. But I'm also going to go in 100% on TMS for this RSI if the EMG comes back negative.

I needed this thankyou.. ...if i pick up a plate it hurts so my brain goes haywire. The gym injury was 2 weeks ago only so its still confusing. Ill give it another week and treat it like TMS ❤ trying not to walk like a straight jacket zombie 😅

Can the brain cause what seems like an injury to cause swelling and visible signs you see ? A change in foot shape . Yes I was walking in unsupportive shoes and twisted ankle. But it’s only getting worse over two weeks not better . With elevating it

I wouldn’t call bending over an injury. I think when people who had real injury try to figure out if eventually it turned into TMS are ones that had real injuries such as concussion whiplash etc
